Day 1Arrive Paris, France
Welcome to Paris. You will be met at the Charles de Gaulle Airport and transferred* to your centrally located hotel.
Day 2Paris (FB)
This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Paris. You will see the Opera House, the Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde, Vendome Square, the Invalides, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre (including entry & tour), the River Seine, the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame and Ile de la Cité. This tour will give you an excellent overview of the city and help you choose what you would like to do in your free time.
Day 3Paris (FB,HD)
Sightseeing is an endless pleasure in Paris, and your tour director is on hand to help you plan your free day to explore the romance capital of the world. This evening we experience a Parisian Highlight Dinner.
Day 4Paris - Amsterdam Embarkation (FB,HD)
This morning travel by coach from Paris to Amsterdam. Welcome to Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands. A warm welcome awaits you from your crew as you board your luxury river cruise ship. After boarding, the afternoon is at leisure. Tonight enjoy a Captain’s Gala welcome dinner.
Day 5Amsterdam – Cologne, Germany (FB,L,D)
This morning, explore Amsterdam’s maze of canals when we join a glass top canal boat cruise. Cruise past merchant houses and the Old Harbor, dating back to Holland’s Golden Age. Continue with a visit to the world-famous Van Gogh Museum, featuring works by the noted artist.
Day 6Cologne – Koblenz (FB,L,D)
Founded by the Romans, Cologne is one of Germany's oldest cities. Join your guide this morning for an insightful city tour. Return to your ship and cruise to the beautiful townsite of Koblenz, located at the intersection of the Rhine and the Moselle Rivers.  Enjoy some free time to explore this quaint village or to see the Ehrenbreitsein Fortress.
Day 7Koblenz - Rhine Gorge – Rüdesheim (FB,L,D)
Today’s cruising will be a highlight of your trip, as we cruise through the spectacular Rhine Gorge. In the afternoon we arrive at Rudesheim where we join the mini-train ride to Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum.
Day 8Miltenberg – Wertheim (FB,L,D)
A picturesque village on the Main River, Miltenberg creates an imitable feeling of Bavarian life in medieval times and the Old Town is lined with well-preserved half-timbered buildings. Cruise on to Wertheim, a beautiful city located at the confluence of the Main and Tauber Rivers. The highlight of your afternoon will be a walk through the medieval city centre and discovering the traditional methods of Wertheim’s glassblowing tradition in a private demonstration.
Day 9Würzburg (FB,L,D)
After breakfast, tour Würzburg’s Bishops’ Residenz, one of Germany’s largest and most ornate baroque palaces and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your tour highlights the palace’s unique staircase, elaborate 18th century frescoes and the amazing 3-dimensional stucco work.
Day 10Bamberg – Nuremburg (FB,L,D)
Feel the magic of the past and explore the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bamberg with your guide. This afternoon enjoy some scenic cruising and sail into the night reaching our destination in Nuremburg.
Day 11Nuremberg (FB,L,HD)
This morning we explore this lively city with a medieval feel resulting from 950 years of history. We then join a guided tour of the Document Centre to learn about the Nazi ruled Germany. This evening enjoy a traditional Bavarian evening on board.
Day 12Weltenburg - Regensburg (FB,L,D)
This morning we embark on a motorcoach tour to the spectacular Benedictine Abbey of Weltenburg, which is the oldest monastery in Bavaria. Dating back to settlement in 500BC, Regensburg is one of Germany’s finest preserved cities. Your guided tour includes a visit to the Old Chapel and the Thurn and Taxis Castle.
Day 13Passau – Linz, Austria (FB,L,D)
On this morning’s walking tour of Passau, stroll through the old town’s narrow alleys and see the hilltop Oberhaus Fortress from the town below. At St. Stephen’s Cathedral, home to Europe’s largest church organ with more than 17,000 pipes. Return for lunch and afternoon cruising to Linz.
Day 14Melk – Dürnstein (FB,L,D)
Melk is home to an imposing 900-year old Benedictine abbey which features Austria’s finest Italian baroque architecture. Later the ship sails through the spectacular Wachau valley and on to Durnstein, one of the most enchanting villages of the Wachau wine region.
Day 15Vienna (FB,L,D)
Vienna the “City of Waltzes”. On a comprehensive half-day tour, explore Austria’s capital beginning with a drive along the Ringstrasse. You’ll tour the baroque Belvedere Palace and see Vienna’s world-famous Opera House, Town Hall, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and Hofburg Palace.
Day 16Bratislava, Slovakia (FB,L,D)
Today you’ll discover the young and vibrant capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Set on the crossroads of ancient trade routes in the heart of Europe, the city embodies various cultures – primarily Celtic, Roman and Slavic. Enjoy a sightseeing tour including the enchanting Old City with its Town Hall and Mirbach Palace and the Gothic Cathedral of St Martin.
Day 17Budapest, Hungary (FB,L,HD)
Budapest is one of Eastern Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities. Enjoy a guided tour of the city sights including the Royal Palace of Buda, the medieval town on Castle Hill and the Chain Bridge linking Buda and Pest. In the afternoon enjoy free time, followed by the Captain’s Gala Dinner.
Day 18Budapest (Disembarkation) – Prague, Czech Republic (FB)
After breakfast journey to Prague, Bohemia's capital which is unrivalled for its architectural splendour.
Day 19Prague Sightseeing & at leisure (FB)
This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour of the city's Old Town riddled with medieval lanes. We then take a tour of one of Prague’s Bohemian Glass factories and discover the techniques of this medieval art. This afternoon and evening is at leisure for you to explore the city.
Day 20Prague Day at Leisure (FB,HD)
Your tour director is on hand to help plan your day’s exploring. The baroque quarter of Mala Strana is a must see, as is Josefov, the Jewish quarter. Tonight enjoy a traditional Folklore tavern farewell dinner.
Day 21Prague (B)
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred* to Prague International Airport for your onward or homebound flight.
