Day 1Arrive Victoria (D)
Welcome to Canada. On arrival at Victoria International Airport you will be met and transferred* to your downtown hotel in the heart of Victoria, British Columbia's beautiful capital city. After check-in tonight meet your Evergreen Tours’ Tour Director and travelling companions for a ‘Welcome to Canada’ reception and dinner.
Two Night Stay: Chateau Victoria
Day 2Victoria – Butchart Gardens - Sightseeing (FB)
Today visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens, a 22-hectare showplace of magnificent, colourful gardens. A horticulturist joins you and explains the garden’s history and flora. There is ample time to explore these gardens which have delighted visitors from around the world for over one hundred years. Afterwards enjoy an orientation tour of Victoria’s Inner Harbour, Bastion Square, Beacon Hill and residential areas. This afternoon is free to explore or perhaps as an option we suggest a Whale Watch Tour & Hop-on / Hop-off Explorer Bus.
Day 3Victoria – Vancouver - Overnight VIA Rail “The Canadian” (FB)
This morning board the ferry for the scenic journey to mainland Vancouver. Crossing the Lions Gate Bridge we head to North Vancouver and visit the spectacular Capilano Suspension Bridge, where you’ll take a walk across the bridge suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River. Join the award-winning Treetops Adventure, a guided nature walk along a series of elevated walkways. Heading back into the city we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including the waterfront, Gastown, Chinatown, Stanley Park, and stopping for lunch (own expense) at Granville Island. Afternoon is at leisure to explore Vancouver until your transfer this evening to VIA Rail train station. Relive the Golden Age of train travel aboard VIA Rail’s The Canadian for one of the world’s great train journeys. Its then time to retire to your private sleeper cabin for the night, and be slowly rocked to sleep.
Day 4“The Canadian” – Jasper (FB,L,D)
In the morning you wake up and open the curtains to be greeted by the majestic Rocky Mountains. After breakfast is served in the dining car, you can head to the Exclusive Park car, with its lounges and 360-degree panoramic views to watch the spectacular views. Late afternoon we arrive into the mountain township of Jasper.

Day 5Icefields Parkway - Glacier ‘Ice Explorer’ – Lake Louise (FB,D)
This morning enjoy a guided walk down the stunning Maligne canyon and marvel at the spectacular rock formations of one of Canada’s’ longest underground river systems. Depart Jasper and travel south along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most spectacular journeys in the world, and enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery. Be amazed by the powerful Athabasca Falls, then make a stop at the Columbia Icefield, where you’ll take the ‘Ice Explorer’ onto the mighty 300-meter thick Athabasca Glacier. Day’s end finds us at the beautiful Lake Louise.

Day 6Lake Louise - Emerald Lake - Banff (FB,D)
Visit Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge enroute to the township of Banff. On arrival into Banff enjoy sightseeing tour including Bow River and Bow Falls and enjoy your Gondola Ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain, with unbelievable views of the Bow River valley.

Day 7Banff (FB)
Today is reserved for you to enjoy Banff and its many sights and attractions.
Day 8Glacier National Park - Sun Peaks (FB,HD)
Cross into Yoho National Park as we begin our descent from the Canadian Rockies. Re-entering British Columbia, we travel through Glacier National Park and Mt Revelstoke National Park before arriving in the resort village of Sun Peaks. This evening enjoy a highlight dinner including music and dancing.

Day 9Okanagan Valley - Whistler (FB)
Visit Historic Hat Creek Ranch and learn about the Shuswap people, then pass through the towns of Cache Creek and Lillooet. Travel along the very scenic Duffy Lake Road, travel through the historic farming Village of Pemberton and arrive at the charming alpine resort of Whistler Village, with time this afternoon and this evening to explore the village’s cobbled pathways and plazas.

Day 10Whistler – Sea to Sky Highway – Vancouver (FB,D)

After a morning at leisure in Whistler we head south along the Sea- to sky highway, following Howe Sound.  We stop to marvel at the impressive Shannon Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in British Columbia, before arriving into the City Lights of Vancouver.
Overnight Stay: Coast Coal Harbour

WHISTLER MOUNTAINEER - Travel onboard the Whistler Mountaineer, a three-hour train experience. See cascading waterfalls, old-growth forests, snow-capped mountain peaks and brilliant Pacific waters from a unique train perspective. (Additional expense).
Day 11Depart Vancouver (FB)

After Breakfast transfer* to Vancouver International Airport to board your homeward flight.
