Located at Dolphin Beach, famous for its kilometres of secluded crystal blue waters and pristine white-shell beaches, World Heritage listed Monkey Mia has attracted pods of dolphins to its tranquil shores daily for more than forty years. This dolphin interaction is known to be one of the most reliable meeting places for dolphins in the world. (as dolphins are wild, their appearance can’t be guaranteed). As you travel through Kalbarri National Park today you’ll see magnificent red and white banded gorges and wildflowers on the rolling sand plains. We’ll visit Nature’s Window which is a natural rock arch that frames the upstream view. We’ll then stop at Hawks Head Lookout which offers spectacular views of Murchison Gorge.

Day 6Nambung National Park - The Pinnacles - Perth (B,D)
This morning we’ll visit Western Flora Park and take a tour with internationally recognised wildflower expert Allan Tinker. Described as the ‘wildflower wizard’ and having three wildflower species named after him, your tour will provide a unique insight into the wonders of Western Australian wildflowers. Travel to Nambung National Park, home of the Pinnacles. These limestone pillars rise up to 4 metres high out of the sand like ancient ruins. The raw material for the limestone came from seashells which were brought ashore by waves thousands of years ago and then carried inland by the wind to form high mobile dunes. Over time the elements have removed the surrounding sand, leaving the pillars exposed.
